A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder following a Nottingham flat fire.

Emergency services were called to the scene in Holden Street, Radford, shortly before 9.30am today (30 January).
A woman was evacuated from the property by firefighters and taken to hospital with smoke inhalation.
An investigation is underway and early indications suggest the fire – which was quickly extinguished by firefighters – was started deliberately.
Cordons were put in place in Holden Street and Alfreton Road to enable investigation work to be carried out.
A 69-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after officers stopped a car in Alfreton Road an hour after the incident was reported.
The suspect remains in custody for questioning.
Detective Chief Inspector Jo Elbourn, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“This is a concerning incident and we are working closely with our fire colleagues to establish the full circumstances.
“Whilst we have made an arrest, the investigation remains at an early stage and I would ask anyone with information that could assist us to please come forward.
“We’ve increased reassurance patrols in the area and if anyone has any concerns we’d encourage them to speak to one of our officers.”
Beth Hayman, Fire Investigation and Arson Reduction Officer at Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service, added:
“Crews were called to this incident at 9:26am, and evacuated a woman from the property.
“We are working closely with our police colleagues to support the investigation, and are expected to be on scene for the remainder of today.”
