Dashcam appeal after assault leaves victim with bite marks

Officers investigating an assault in Hucknall are appealing for any dashcam footage that may have captured the incident.

The assault occurred in Torkard Way, Hucknall, shortly before midday on Tuesday 24 February and left the victim with cuts and bite marks. Damage was also caused to the victim’s car.

A 42-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent and have been released on bail.

Officers are keen to hear from any motorists who may have recorded dashcam footage of the incident.

PC Rory Cole of Nottinghamshire Police said:

“This was a significant disturbance that will have been noticed by people driving by.

“During the course of our investigation, we have spoken to witnesses and thoroughly reviewed local CCTV opportunities.

“We are now appealing directly to any motorists who may have recorded dashcam footage of what happened.”
