Depth gauge shows how much the River Trent has risen in 24 hours

The gauge shows how the river level has risen since 1 pm on Sunday.

Flooding is expected form 4:30 pm today at Lenton and Queen’s Drive Park and Ride site. 

The Environment Agency said:

‘River levels are forecast to rise at the Colwick river gauge as a result of persistent heavy rainfall.

‘Consequently, flooding of property and farmland is expected from 16:30 today, 21/02/22.

‘Areas most at risk are Nottingham Park and Ride on Queens Drive, Lenton Lane and Power League Football Pitches.

‘Further light rainfall is forecast over the next 24 hours. We expect river levels to continue rising. We are closely monitoring the situation.
