Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service are at the scene of a building fire in Talbot Street in Nottingham city centre.
Updated: The incident was a small fire on the roof which has been dealt with, checks are being carried out and the venue expects to open as usual this evening, a spokesperson said.
The service said at 10 am on 28 May:
‘Crews from Stockhill Fire Station, London Road Fire Station, Highfields Fire Station, Arnold Fire Station, and Eastwood Fire Station are currently in attendance at a building fire on Talbot Street in the city centre.
‘Please avoid the area while we carry out our work.’
Nottingham City Transport buses:
‘Talbot Street is closed due to an incident.
‘Pink 28, 30 and Orange 35, 36 buses entering the City will follow their normal route to Canning Circus then divert along Wollaton Street, Tollhouse Hill, Upper Parliament Street and South Sherwood Street to resume normal route from NTU City Campus.
