Police want to speak to these two people after a firearm was reportedly shown to someone inside a shop.
A man was queuing up to pay in Alfreton Road, Radford, when he reportedly revealed what looked like a gun in his waistband.
Nobody was hurt during the encounter inside the World of Drinks shop, although it was witnessed by several people, including a group of what appeared to be university students.
Officers are now appealing for any of these witnesses to come forward and for anyone who recognises the two men pictured to share this information with the police.
Detective Constable Maddie Hughes, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“Carrying a firearm is clearly an incredibly serious offence, so it’s important we fully investigate this report.
“While nobody was hurt during this encounter, it will have still been very alarming to see, so we’re keen to get to the bottom of exactly what happened.
“On that note, we want to speak to the two people pictured as part of this appeal, as we believe both could have information that could really assist our inquiries.
“We’d therefore ask anyone who recognises them to let us know, or for the two people to make themselves known to us.
“From reviewing the CCTV, there were several other people in the store at the time who will have witnessed what happened, including a group of what appeared to be university students.
“If you were one of those people, we’d again ask that you contact us, as you could have information that could really help our investigation.”
This can be reported to the police by calling 101, quoting incident 752 of 30 April 2025, while Crimestoppers can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
