Officers have released an image of a potential witness they would like to trace following a fatal stabbing in St Ann’s.
Police were called to Abbotsford Drive at around 12.50pm on Monday 10 November after 20-year-old Marley Gascoine was found seriously injured.
Mr Gascoine, from Nottingham, was treated at the scene but despite the best efforts of first responders he died a short time later from a stab wound.
A 20-year-old man has been charged with his murder and remains in custody.
Detectives have released an image of a person they would really like to speak to and are calling on the public’s help.
Detective Chief Inspector Ruby Burrow said: “We have been working really hard to trace a person that could help us with our inquiries. So far, we have not been able to identify them.
“It is important to stress that the individual pictured is not being treated as a suspect and we just want to speak to them in relation to the incident.
“We would be grateful for anyone with information about this person and their whereabouts to please come forward.
