The members of the travelling community pitched up on Ruddington Lane Park.
Ruddington Lane Park on Ruddington Lane has been occupied by members of the travelling community.
The entire park is affected by around 50 caravans, trucks, cars and other vehicles.
The park is next to houses and the walkthrough to Compton Acres tram stop.
Nottingham City Council told The Wire:

‘We issued a 24-eviction notice on Monday which hasn’t been complied with, so the council is moving forward with court proceedings.’
