Following complaints from local residents, Rushcliffe Operation Reacher has been out in Ruddington conducting mobile speed checks in the area.
Police in Rushcliffe said:
‘Whilst the vast majority of drivers were adhering to the speed limits, several drivers were reported to court for offences including excess speed and no MOT or insurance.
‘The majority of community complaints received to Nottinghamshire Police are speeding in built-up areas.
‘We would like to remind drivers to ensure they are adhering to the speed limit and we will take action where complaints are received.
