Ruddington roadworks at A60 Loughborough Road junction with Kirk Lane.
Excavation works by Virgin Media for two weeks will mean restrictions at the junction.
Four-way temporary traffic signals will operate for 24 hours from 8 January until 26 January.
The work is described as footway excavation to install ducting for service connection.
