Rushcliffe police patrolled car meet hotspots throughout Edwalton, Ratcliffe on Soar and West Bridgford this weekend.
On Saturday 1 February and Sunday 2 February, officers from Rushcliffe along with colleagues from across the South of the County were again engaged in Operation Wheelspin dealing with illegal street racing and anti-social driving.
On Saturday a vehicle was seized for a breach of a previous Section 59 warning at Junction 27 of the M1, the warning had been issued by the West Midlands Police due to previous involvement in car cruising meets and anti-social driving. The driver was also reported for having vehicle registration marks that do not conform to British Standard.
On Sunday a man from the Beeston was given a s59 warning and reported for driving without due care and attention and contravention of a red traffic light on London Road near Trent Bridge in Nottingham.
Rushcliffe officers patrolled hotspots at Ratcliffe on Soar, Edwalton and Saxondale, as well as supporting enforcement action across Nottinghamshire.
