Three men charged after investigation into alleged drugs supply.
Three men have been charged following an investigation into the alleged supply of illegal drugs.
Tremayne McKenzie, aged 30, of Barent Walk, Bestwood, and Jimmy Reeves, aged 46, of The Farthings, Lenton, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (9 April 2022) charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs in Nottinghamshire between 29 January 2022 and 8 April 2022.
They were remanded in custody and are next due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on 5 May 2022.
Lavinio Simms, aged 20, of Lindfield Road, Broxtowe Estate, is also charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs in Nottinghamshire between 29 January 2022 and 8 April 2022.
Simms was released on conditional bail and is next due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 13 May 2022.
Detective Inspector Ian Smith, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Drugs have a detrimental impact on lives and communities and can often be linked to, or result in, wider criminal activity.
“For this reason we continue to work diligently to disrupt those involved in this sort of criminality, to prevent the harm caused by the supply of illegal substances into our community.”
