Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service are fighting a fire on Peache Way in Bramcote.
11:15 pm –
’10 fire crews, 2 Aerial ladder platforms, two water carriers, a specialist command team, our partners and importantly fire control, are continuing to work hard to bring this fire under control.
We expect to be in attendance throughout the night.’
A spokesperson said at 8:20 pm on Sunday 12 May:
‘We’re currently in attendance at a building fire on Peache Way, Bramcote.
‘Six fire engines, plus the aerial ladder platform, water bowser and command support vehicle are working to extinguish the fire.
‘Please avoid the area and keep windows and doors closed.
In an update at 9:45 pm:
’10 fire engines, two aerial ladder platforms, the water bowser, command support vehicle and welfare unit are now in attendance along with Derbyshire Fire Service.
‘We are likely to remain at this incident into the night.’
‘The fire is in the first floor of the building’
Nottinghamshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service are also at the scene of the incident.
