Top 10 UK housebuilder, Keepmoat, has demonstrated its commitment to supporting local communities in Nottinghamshire, by sponsoring the kit for a newly-established under-12 girls football team.
Gedling Southbank FC, which was established in 2006, is based near one of Keepmoat’s newest sites, Gedling Green, where the housebuilder was approached to sponsor the kit of the up-and-coming girls team which was established in 2020.
As well as providing 19 shirts for the girls to wear during matches, Keepmoat also sponsored training jackets for the team too.
Ashley Brown, Manager of Gedling Southbank Under-12s, said: “Our club secretary, who lives in a Keepmoat home, reached out to the housebuilder in a quest to secure help with kits and sponsorship for the team.
“Keepmoat very kindly agreed to sponsor the team’s kit and we’re extremely grateful to the housebuilder. The girls are thrilled with their new apparel, and we can’t wait to see what the future holds!’’
Philippa Stewart, Sales Director, said: “At Keepmoat we strongly believe that building homes isn’t just about using bricks and mortar. We also seek to provide support to the communities where we operate and to the local groups that are based there. We are thrilled that we were able to support Gedling Southbank’s new under-12s girls team with a new kit, and we wish them all the success for the remainder of the season and beyond. We’re looking forward to supporting more local groups in the future.”
