This afternoon Rushcliffe South Neighbourhood officers conducted speed checks on Wilford Road, Ruddington after speeding was recently highlighted as one of the community’s greatest concerns.
Officers said:
‘It was pleasing to see that during a 30-minute period only one motorist was reported for a speeding offence with a recorded speed of 38mph.
‘I would like to thank the drivers that adhered to the speed limit today and for the members of the community that approached us in support of our presence.
‘Speeding is one of the four main causes of serious injury or death on our roads. Please drive carefully and stay safe.’
