Following the announcement that CT4N has ceased trading, Nottingham City Transport will step in and replace its 18 service between Nottingham, QMC, Beeston Rylands, Beeston, Bramcote and Stapleford from Monday 17th August 2026.
An hourly service on the core 18 route will operate for the first two weeks, with the full 18, 18A, 18B and 18X timetable commencing on Tuesday 1st September 2026.
Nottingham City Transport is reviewing options to replace other services currently provided by CT4N.
The 18 will be covered by NCT’s range of tickets and passes, including Easyrider and Easyrider Further passes. Concessionary and Robin Hood tickets and passes will also continue to be accepted in line with existing scheme rules.
David Conway, Head of Operations at NCT, said, “We are sorry to hear about the closure of CT4N, which has provided important community links for many years. We look forward to welcoming customers on the 18 to the NCT network from Monday, ensuring there is no gap in service on this core route and expanding it to provide the full 18 group of services at the start of September.”
